Tennessee Titans: Rob Turner to IR, Sign Pat McQuistan

Nothing surprising here. Turner had already lost his starting job to rookie Brian Schwenke. Next season, he may get a chance to win a backup job during training camp. Don’t count on it though. For this season, I’m guessing that Chris Spencer becomes the backup center.

Pat McQuistan—don’t mistake him for the Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Paul McQuistan—is an eight-year veteran who has been a journeyman for at least five different organizations. Pat and Paul are twin brothers who both played at Weber State University.

All I know about these players is that Paul isn’t very well received by Seahawks fans. Unless there are a lot of injuries, don’t expect Pat to see the field. If he does, Locker had better look out.
