Winning the turnover battle is half the battle. The other half: scoring points on those turnovers.

The Tennessee Titans scored touchdowns on each of their four takeaways en route to a 38-13 Week 4 victory against the New York Jets. Alterraun Verner had two interceptions and a fumble recovery. The Titans capitalized with three first half Jake Locker touchdown passes. Karl Klug recovered a fumble inside the Jets end zone.

The Titans enjoyed a dominant defensive performance. Along with four takeaways, the defense had 11 quarterback hits and five sacks. The Jets hurt their cause with 10 penalties for 66 yards. Many of those penalties were drive-killers and probably took potential points off the scoreboard.

It was an impressive performance that puts the Titans at the top of the AFC South leaderboard with the Indianapolis Colts. Both teams share a 3-1 record. The Houston Texans dropped to 2-2 after they blew a 20-3 lead to the Seattle Seahawks, 23-20. The Jacksonville Jaguars remain winless at 0-4.

Let’s check out some of the Titans’ studs and duds from this Week 4 matchup. We’ll conclude with a grade for the pass offense, run offense, pass defense, run defense and special teams.
