Week 2 Preview
The Titans and Texans meet for the first of two regular-season matchups. Both teams are coming off Week 1 victories. The Titans entered last week’s matchup as seven-point underdogs to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Titans won 16-9. They’ll try to repeat that as they’re 10-poing underdogs to their AFC South rivals.

Both teams are expected to rely on their ground games. What this game may come down to is which quarterback can make the most plays and protect the football: Jake Locker or Matt Schaub. Ed Reed hopes to make his Texans debut after limited participation throughout the week. Even if Reed plays, he probably won’t start.

Since Mike Munchak became Titans head coach in 2011, the Titans are 1-3 against the Texans. All three of those losses were double-digit deficits. The only victory came in a Week 17 game that was meaningless for the Texans. Last season, the Texans swept the Titans. The Texans have won the AFC South in each of the last two seasons.
