Titans vs Texans Injury Report Friday: 4 Titans, Ed Reed Questionable

Injury reports for the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans, Sep. 13:

Keep an eye on that David Stewart injury. He played through that injury last week and practiced Friday. If he couldn’t go for some reason, it puts more pressure on Chance Warmack and the right side of that offensive line in trying to contain J.J. Watt or any pass-rushers who play on that side.

Even if Ed Reed plays, he shouldn’t have that big of an impact. His absence would make him rusty and he’ll need time to acclimate with the Texans’ defensive backfield. Jake Locker must take advantage of a secondary that’s vulnerable to vertical passing attacks.

Consider Shonn Greene a luxury. Jackie Battle is more than capable of picking up the tough yards and playing in goal-line situations. With Damian Williams‘ hamstring injury, Justin Hunter has a better chance of making the game-day roster. Hunter talked about a compliment that he received in practice this week. Is that a sign of confidence from the coaching staff?

The Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans will square off at 12:00 p.m. CT on Sunday afternoon (Sep. 15). Don’t expect injuries to play a big part in this game, at least not at the start. No telling what will happen when two physical teams meet for 60 minutes.
