Tennessee Titans: Week 2 Trash Talk

It’s Week 2 of the NFL season. Both the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans are treating this game like they’re both fighting for a playoff spot at the end of the season.  The trash talk has started and the flames of this rivalry are fueled by Texans running back Arian Foster and Titans defensive tackle Jurrell Casey.

Casey wasted no time talking about how important this game will be as he started talking about the Texans in his Week 1 post-game presser.  Casey had this to say:

“We’re going to go out there and make sure we put our foot up their (butt). Sorry about the cuss word.”

He has not been shy this season and has given the media a lot of bulletin board material. This is gold considering these two teams have the biggest rivalry in the division.  Letting Casey loose was probably a strategy used by the Titans before the season began.  He’s really giving fans a reason to watch the defense on Sundays.

On the other sideline, Arian Foster had some choice words about the Titans defense. When asked what was the difference between the two defenses, Foster simply said, “Ours is better.”

These two teams have always been chippy on Sundays and aren’t shy about the rivalry at hand.  Foster has been with the Texans for a long time and knows the dominance they have established over the Titans in the last few years.  Are these words of fear or confidence?  I think Foster feels nervous about this game and knows that the Titans are catching the Texans at a great time.

This game will be a great one and I urge everyone to tune in.  This rivalry hasn’t been this heated in a long time.  Are the Titans closing the gap on the Texans? We’ll see on Sunday.

I think he’s confident. The Titans have not showed him anything to be scared of.

The only reason Tennessee is loosing is Jake Locker! We have not had a good quarterback sense Vince and too bad even Vince was hurt all of the time and missed more games than any quarterback I know of and that is why Tennessee got rid of him. I mean a no show quarterback is like not having one. I think Fitz has a better chance winning than Locker. Another wasted year!
