Tennessee Titans: Four Things To Watch Moving Forward

Sunday gave us our first glimpse into the play of Delanie Walker as the main focal point at tight end since the loss of Jared Cook. I think we have a real winner.

Minus his fumble, Walker’s play was impressive. He is a big target who runs excellent routes. Seeing him line up in the slot a few times really got me excited to see how we can use him moving forward. He was sent out blocking a few times and really laid the wood to some defenders and cleared a ton of running lanes for the backs. It was also noticeable just how much of a vocal leader he is.

But that’s just it, we need to utilize his ability more. Just like Cook, we have a real winner with Walker at tight end. It’s just a matter of using him the right way and getting him the ball so he can make plays. I’m confident that next week and moving forward, the staff will see that and implement a plan to do so.
