Here’s a Week 1 matchup where both fan bases are extremely confident in their chances of victory. Tennessee Titans enthusiasts believe their team has improved after a busy offseason that included a complete revamp of the interior of the offensive line. Pittsburgh Steelers enthusiasts are confident that their team is almost unbeatable during home-openers. The Steelers have won their last 10 home-opener games. Furthermore, the fans expect additional motivation from their team after a winless preseason and a 26-23 loss to the Titans in Week 6 of last season.

As of Sep. 6, the Titans are seven-point underdogs. That’s surprising when one considers that the New York Jets are only 3.5-point underdogs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Experts, media and outsiders have very little respect for this Titans team. They have a chance to establish some credibility with a season-opening win at Heinz Field.
