Titans vs. Steelers Picks: ESPN Analysts Favor Steelers to Win, 12-1
Everyone continues to jinx the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Tennessee Titans won’t have a shortage of motivation coming from doubters, much of which stems from the “experts.” Oh, and a certain editor who’s hopefully proven as a complete idiot by 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
ESPN analysts have made their Week 1 NFL picks for all 16 games. In the Titans vs. Steelers matchup, 12 of 13 analysts chose the Steelers. Most of the ESPN pick’em community agrees. Mike Ditka was the only one courageous enough to predict a Titans victory that would end the Steelers’ 10-game home-opener winning streak.
This committee didn’t show much variety in their picks. They had unanimous decisions on three games: New England Patriots over Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers over New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers over Green Bay Packers. Four other games were 12-of-13.
Keyshawn Johnson took the Oakland Raiders to steal a home victory away from the Indianapolis Colts? C’mon, man! Hope he’s right.

The Titans have plenty to prove. As seven-point underdogs, the Titans mustn’t prove the critics right. The Titans need to open the season with at least one win in their first two road games along with a home-opener victory against the San Diego Chargers.
