Michael Preston has all-but-won a spot on the 53-man roster. At least, he should’ve after a nice training camp that has included two touchdown catches during preseason games. Another solid performance would give coaches another reason to keep him as a No. 6 wide receiver. That’s a potentially useful asset when one considers the health concerns at wide receiver (Kenny Britt, Kendall Wright, Justin Hunter and maybe Marc Mariani).

Jackie Battle

Some impressive power running and pass-blocking should guarantee that Jackie Battle survives the final cuts. If Shonn Greene ever went down with an injury, this team will need another power back on their depth chart. Darius Reynaud doesn’t offer enough to have a role as the sole No. 3 running back.
