Is there any NFL game more meaningless than the Pro Bowl? For casual fans who aren’t interested in players who will fill out the backend of the 53-man roster, they may consider the preseason finale as a respectable competitor.
The Tennessee Titans will conclude their 2013 preseason schedule when they play an Aug. 29 game against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are the fourth consecutive opponent who had playoff credentials from one season ago. That type of competition will hopefully prove as a good test for the Titans when they begin their regular-season schedule with a brutal slate of opening games.
Don’t care about the backups? Then don’t watch this game. But if you’re like me, you’ll want to see if any of the undrafted free agents or bubble players can make one last impression on the coaches before they finalize their 53-man roster on Aug. 31.
