Tennessee Titans: Kerry Collins Will Serve as Analyst for Aug. 29 Game

Anyone who’s unaware of the legal situation surrounding former Tennessee Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck should read this. Bulluck was charged with a class C felony robbery. A cabbie named Habib Hashi alleged that Bulluck stole $100 from him. Bulluck made the following statement to The Tennessean:

I was out with friends last night in Nashville and was taking a cab home. There was a misunderstanding between me and the cab driver about getting my money back for a service not rendered. At 2 a.m., things could easily get lost in translation, but regardless of who was right or wrong, I regret putting myself in that situation.

Bulluck is scheduled for a Sep. 26 court date. There’s no telling how much of a long-term impact this will have on his broadcasting career. According to The Tennessean, Hashi has been involved in other incidents.  Those are available at the link that’s provided toward the beginning of this piece.

It seems like a swift reaction. At the same time, they probably know more about the incident than anybody else. One can only wait and see how everything plays out. Hopefully, both parties can reach a resolution and Bulluck will continue his broadcasting career—if he so chooses.

The Titans have one more preseason game (Aug. 29 at Minnesota) before they begin the regular season on Sep. 8.
