Ready for more preseason football? On Aug. 17, the Cincinnati Bengals will host the Tennessee Titans. The Bengals are coming off a 34-10 road victory against the Atlanta Falcons. Despite the impressive margin of victory against a potential Super Bowl contender, the Falcons led 3-0 at the end of the first quarter.

It’s the first time that these teams have played since Nov. 6, 2011. The Bengals won 24-17. For the Titans, that win was the difference between an AFC wild-card berth and watching the Bengals lose to the Houston Texans for the first of two consecutive seasons.

What can fans expect from this preseason game? Preseason Games 2-3 are the most telling. During the opener, teams are trying to eliminate rust and stay healthy. Starters treat most of the fourth preseason game as a bye week. Coaches want to make sure that their team is healthy for Week 1. Coaches also want an in-depth look at players who’ll win the final roster spots.

Let’s take a look at five players whom Titans enthusiasts should keep an eye on. Who has the most to gain? Who has the most to lose? Who’ll face the most scrutiny following an unsatisfactory performance?
