1.  The Run Game Looks Scary

The last time I saw the run game look this good in the first preseason game was five years ago.  August 9th, 2008 was Chris Johnson’s rookie debut at LP Field, and he didn’t disappoint.  He snapped off a 66-yard sprint for a touchdown.

Fast forward to August 8th, 2013.  CJ breaks another beast of a run, this time for 58 yards.  In addition, 2008 was the last time CJ was paired with a 1000-yard running back.  LenDale White rushed for 1,110 yards in the year prior to joining Chris Johnson in the Titans backfield.  Shonn Greene rushed for 1,063 yards last season and now brings his talents to the East Bank to unite with The Dreaded Blur.  Need I remind you that those Titans went 13-3 and finished with the best record in the NFL?

Smash and Dash 2.0 looks to be in beta, Nashville!
