Here are a few highlights of the Tennessee Titans training camp thus far:

-After missing the first week of camp, first-round pick Chance Warmack has signed. He looks solid so far

-Third-year linebacker  Akeem Ayers looks to have a breakout season and his pass-rushing abilities have seemed to taken the next step (the entire linebacking core has gotten rave reviews)

-CB Tommie Campbell is positioning himself to be a starter alongside Jason McCourty

-RB Chris Johnson has looked fast and should return to old form

-QB Jake Locker has made strides, especially when rolling out

-TE Delanie Walker had his knee scoped and hopes to return by the third week of camp

-S Bernard Pollard has been running his mouth, but his leadership and swagger has made an impact on the defense

-Wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson is quite entertaining, and the receivers seem respond to his coaching

-Second-year wide out Kendall Wright is slimmer, quicker, and making more plays than last year

-Defensive assistant Gregg Williams has made his presence felt early in camp, and hasn’t shied away from being vocal

-As of now the battle for the starting center spot seems to be between Rob Tuner and Fernando Velasco. Rookie center Brian Schwenke pulled a hammy and should be on the shelf for about another week

– The Titans have always loved trickery and this year seems to be the same. Reports of reverses, halfback passes and throwbacks have been reported

-The read option and Pistol will be used during the regular season. Dowell Loggains seems to have an understanding of his personnel and their strengths (Locker is an athlete/running game is a strength)
