Is Tennessee Titans RB Shonn Greene Overpaid?” On July 10, that was the question that Titan Sized had asked their readers. As of July 14, that poll featured 116 respondents.

Check out the results from the image above. 70 people (60.34 percent) agreed that Shonn Greene was overpaid. It was just a matter of whether they felt as if it were a wise overpayment (65.71 percent of the 70) or if they should’ve waited to sign someone cheaper (34.29 percent of the 70). 36.21 percent of all respondents claimed that it wasn’t a bad deal because of how the guaranteed money was structured. Four voters (3.45 percent) claimed he was underpaid.

This offseason, the Titans revamped their stable of running backs in an attempt to add more production behind Chris Johnson. Out with Javon Ringer and Jamie Harper. In with Jalen Parmele and Greene. The Titans are hoping that Greene can add a “smash” element that’s similar to what LenDale White offered when he complemented Johnson during the 2008-09 and 2009-10 NFL seasons.

It appears as though there are plenty of mixed opinions and emotions. While some may disagree with the Titans’ offseason plan, no one can say that management didn’t try to improve the roster.
