Welcome to the Titan Sized open thread for the 2013 NFL Draft.

We’re trying something new tonight. For the next two days, Titan Sized will hold an open thread for anyone who wants to discuss Tennessee Titans football and the events that affect them during the first three rounds of the draft. We’re looking to create a vocal community for our fans. Feel free to chat about any topic that involves the Titans and/or the 2013 NFL Draft.

Check this topic for updates throughout the night. Anything that could affect the Titans will have a mention. Down below, you can check the comments section for the latest discussion between staff members and readers.

To get started, who do you want the Titans to take with the No. 10 pick? If you don’t think they’ll take that player, then who will they take? Any sleeper picks that may catch everybody off-guard, reaches?

Enjoy the draft.

7:16 p.m.: Kansas City Chiefs keep the No. 1 pick, select OT Eric Fisher from Central Michigan. On the clock: AFC South rival Jacksonville Jaguars.

7:24 p.m.: The Jaguars select OT Luke Joeckel from Texas A&M. That’s two OTs in the first two picks. On the clock: Oakland Raiders. Will they trade down?

7:31 p.m@Titan_Sized: As long as Blaine Gabbert / Chad Henne are still JAX QBs, #Titans fans can rest easy.”

7:34 p.m. First shock of the night: Raiders trade with Miami Dolphins. With No. 3 pick, Dolphins take DE/LB Dion Jordan. On the clock: Philadelphia Eagles.

So when will the first trade happen? Thoughts?

    • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Sounds like Oakland may want to trade down. They apparently want a CB.

  • josh gunnels

Are they going to show LP Field when the Titans make their pick?

    • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Well if they don’t take Chance Warmack, it may not be there for long, haha

      • josh gunnels

        Zing!

  • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Okay. So how will the Jaguars mess up the No. 2 pick? I’m hoping they take Bjoern Werner. Bwahaha.

    • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Oh… I’m also 1 for 1 on my mock draft. So guess I won’t get everything wrong :-) 1 for 32 is good!

    • josh gunnels

Who do you NOT want them to take?

      • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Any good QB. As long as Gabbert is calling the shots, they ain’t winning. Joeckel and Monroe should make good tandem though.

  • josh gunnels

Titans need to take Floyd/Star now. Then the Jags will be like “Damn, we chould have taken a guard.”

    • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

More than likely, one of them will fall to No. 10. I’ve had this feeling that they may consider DE Datone Jones, especially if one of the guards aren’t there.

  • josh gunnels

I’m just glad that 2 players the TItans didn’t want are off the board. Let’s keep it up!

    • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Miami just traded. 3 OT in first three picks?

      • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Nope… interesting. Dion Jordan at No. 3 to Miami.

  • http://www.facebook.com/devin.moosaie Devin Romeo Moosaie

We need to take Shariff Floyd, I didn’t think any quality defensive lineman would fall to us. Don’t pick Warmack, we can get a guard in the 2nd round.

    • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Yeah… Floyd and Lotulelei could both be available… hard to pass that up.

  • Shawn Eagle

    One more…..last thoughts?

  • http://www.facebook.com/devin.moosaie Devin Romeo Moosaie

I think the Jets will go with Dee Milner or another corner, I know Warmack wants to come to Tennessee but this isn’t the time to be sentimental, trade up and get Floyd if you have to.

  • Shawn Eagle

Was that jpp…morgan all over again?

  • Shawn Eagle

Line now back to a strength

    • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Yup. Wonder if they trade back into 1st round later tonight. Either way, should get good player at No. 40 if they don’t.

  • Modesto Koczwara

Chance Warmack – Thank God. With two OL HOFers, I have no doubt that he will advance his skills!

  • Shawn Eagle

Good solid pick…gotta win in the trenches

    • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Definitely. Maybe Tank or Datone with their next pick. They’ll add a DE at some point in this draft.

  • http://www.titansized.com/ Justin Stewart

I’m happy. That line is legit as can be now. Only other thing they could really look at adding is a WR now. Other than that, should be defense.

    • http://twitter.com/Armchair_Psycho Joshua Huffman

Should have lots of choices at No. 40. Even more if they trade up, but enough at No. 40.

      • http://www.titansized.com/ Justin Stewart

        Agreed.
