An intriguing draft option for the Tennessee Titans is BYU DE Ezekiel Ansah out of BYU. Ziggy is an extremely freaky prospect, and should be considered.

I have stated my love for G Chance Warmack, but my interest in Ansah was sparked when I watched some of his highlights.

Here’s why:

Freak Athlete- A former basketball/track athlete turned football player has only been playing the game for three years and he shows huge potential as not just a pass-rusher, but an all around football player. He consistently batted balls down, was in the backfield, and even made some nice plays in coverage. His instincts and athletic ability are an intriguing combination.

Motor- He is relentless and plays mean. Whether it is coming around the edge for a sack, or chasing a ball carrier down the opposite end of the field. He is freakishly fast on the field for his size and he doesn’t take plays off.

Pass-Rushing Ability- Yes he is raw, but he appears to be a quick learner. In what I saw he uses his hands well, has a nice combo of speed and power, and has the ability to dip his shoulder on the edge. He has natural raw tools that he can expand on as his development moves forward.

The Draft is nearing and the Titans have options with pick #10.

Hey Russell seems like you and I have similar stances on Ziggy. He has really shot up my personal draft board over the last few weeks, and if he falls to #10 I’d be elated if we draft him. He’s much bigger than most of the other DE/OLB pass rushers like Jordan and Mingo, so he provides that size that the Titans have been talking about.
