The 2013 NFL Draft is just around the corner and people are chomping at the bit to see who their team takes. We have a list of players that have confirmed they’ll be attending the 2013 NFL Draft and we’d like to share it with you. Bolded are the players that the Titans should have some interest in (and maybe just some I hope they’re interested in).

  • Barkevious Mingo, Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, LSU
  • Bjoern Werner, Defensive End, Florida State
  • Chance Warmack, Guard, Alabama
  • Cordarrelle Patterson, Wide Receiver, Tennessee
  • Dee Milliner, Cornerback, Alabama
  • DJ Fluker, Offensive Tackle, Alabama
  • EJ Manuel, Quarterback, Florida State
  • Eric Fisher, Offensive Tackle, Central Michigan
  • Ezekial Ansah, Defensive End, BYU
  • Geno Smith, Quarterback, West Virginia
  • Jonathan Cooper, Guard, North Carolina
  • Kenny Vaccaro, Safety, Texas
  • Lane Johnson, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma
  • Luke Joeckel, Offensive Tackle, Texas A&M
  • Margus Hunt, Defensive End, SMU
  • Menelik Watson, Offensive Tackle, Florida State
  • Sharrif Floyd, Defensive Tackle, Florida
  • Tavon Austin, Wide Receiver, West Virginia
  • Xavier Rhodes, Cornerback, Florida State

Obviously, there are a few of the top prospects that won’t be attending and there are still those that will attend but haven’t confirmed so yet. Former Titans first round pick QB Jake Locker chose not to attend the draft, while the Titans 2012 first round pick WR Kendall Wright did. In the end, it doesn’t really matter. I always think it’s fun to see the player react with their family and friends before walking on stage and being given a jersey and cap, but with the way the draft is televised anymore, we still get to see that family and friend reaction at home (usually).

Which one will be wearing Titan Blue? Mmmmm. Only three more weeks to stew over this.

This draft sucks waiting for. Usually you’ve got a pretty good idea of the first 3-4 picks, but this year, we’re only certain of the first one it seems.

I think part of the problem is the lack of bonafide top end talent.

That’s why there’s even a discussion of guards going in the top 10.

True, though I still back Milliner and Warmack as great players.
