The Tennessee Titans have a meeting scheduled with Texas safety Kenny Vaccaro tonight at 7pm according to a tweet from The Tennessean’s Jim Wyatt.

The Titans have recently added veteran strong safety George Wilson, formerly of the Buffalo Bills, on a two-year contract but could look to take Vaccaro as a long term solution for their backfield problems. Vaccaro played as a free safety in college but could look to be moved to strong safety if taken by the Titans, who signed FS Michael Griffin to a long-term deal this past year.

Vaccaro is held as the best safety of a very strong safety class in this years upcoming 2013 NFL Draft. There have been a few mock drafts recently connecting the Tennessee Titans and Kenny Vaccaro with the 10th pick of the draft.

It should be an exciting draft for the Titans, who having seemingly few holes to fill. The offensive line will likely get a good patch or two slapped on it when free agency opens up. It’s also quite likely that the Titans bring a veteran defensive end in to throw into rotation with Derrick Morgan and Kamerion Wimbley.

That’ll leave the Titans open to draft by the best player available plan. It should make for a fun draft for fans to watch.

Do you think the Titans should take Vaccaro with the 10th overall pick? If not, who are you rooting for?
