The Tennessee Titans offensive line is banged up. Earlier this week, the Titans didn’t have one starting offensive lineman participating in practice.
Now we’re getting the news that OG Deuce Lutui will be getting the start Sunday in place of Leroy Harris. Harris is being sidelined by an injured right knee.
Harris shouldn’t be missed terribly, being the weakest part of the line. I would say Lutui could use this as his chance to take the spot from Harris but we all know how stubborn the coaches can be about making changes to this line.
Lutui was signed by the Titans earlier in the season as a free agent. He was previously a member of the Arizona Cardinals where he started every game between 2008 and 2010.
The Titans offensive line should be tested early and often facing a disruptive Bears front. Hopefully Lutui is up to the challenge.
I think he’ll do just fine, or at least better than Harris would.
