Tennessee Titans VS San Diego Chargers: TV Schedule, Preview, and More

The Tennessee Titans have traveled to Qualcomm Stadium to meet the San Diego Chargers for their second game of the season. The Titans currently stand at 0-1 while the Chargers are 1-0, having come out with a win against the Oakland Raiders.

Game time: 3:25 PM CT

  • TV: CBS
  • Radio: 104.5/Titans Radio
  • DirecTV: 716
  • Sirius: 91

The Titans haven’t beaten the Chargers since September 27th, 1992. They have an eight game losing streak against them and haven’t fared well on the west coast lately.

Injury Report

Chargers TE Antonio Gates and RB Ryan Matthews are both questionable for the game while starting LT Jared Gaither and CB Shareece Wright are both out. The LT being out could be the cue for another feeding frenzy for Titans DE Kamerion Wimbley, who tortured QB Phillip Rivers in their last meeting with Wimbley as a Raider.

The Titans will be without MLB Colin McCarthy, a key cog in their defense. They’ll also be missing backup OT Mike Otto as well as RB Javon Ringer, who has been fighting off an awful elbow infection. WR Nate Washington and QB Jake Locker will both be playing through some injuries they attained last week in the same play.

This game could be a good one. The Titans will try to contain the Chargers passing attack while the Chargers will be looking to hold Chris Johnson to another miserable game.

Prediction: Titans 21 Chargers 17

RB Ryan Matthews will not play against the Titans today.
