Today’s is busy day for the Tennessee Titans. A trip to Dalton, Georgia to share a practice with the Atlanta Falcons is a big portion of it. Kenny Britt also has his meeting with NFL officials today to discuss his run-in with police earlier this summer.
The Titans will be meeting the Falcons in Dalton, Georgia at 4:30 for their joint practice. The Titans and Falcons practiced together in 2004 and saw a multitude of fights break out, one of which ended with Michael Vick straining his hamstring. Hopefully this practice will be a little less intense.
Via CBS Rapid Reports:
The practice will be fairly standard, according to Falcons coach Mike Smith, but both teams will benefit from fresh competition.
“There will be two practices going on at once,” Smith said. “There will be 7-on-7, some pass rush, some situations, some no-huddle, and two-minutes which will be good for both teams.”
Kenny Britt is going to have to face the music today, discussing how things transpired July 20th when he was stopped at Fort Campbell army base and charged with a DWI. We’re all awaiting word of what his sentencing will be, especially considering the fact that this is his eighth run-in with the law since being drafted.
Even without Britt’s looming suspension, he would be likely to miss some time after having both his knee’s scoped this offseason. The suspension almost seems pointless as Britt currently sits on the PUP list. It’ll be interesting to see what happens, that’s for sure.
