Tennessee Titans Are Stitting On A Mountain of Money

The Tennessee Titans have a ton of money left over after free agency. Of course by a ton, I mean $19.97 million. All teams are forced to use 95% of their cap starting in 2013 under the rules of the new CBA.

The Titans could look to use up the remainder of that money by giving players contract extensions, such as the one they are working on with CB Jason McCourty.

As the linked article at the top says, if TE Jared Cook and K Rob Bironas keep doing their thing they should be in line for new contracts as well.

I’m certainly curious as to how they plan on using up most of that $20 million, as that’s a sizable chunk of change and there aren’t any big name free agents out there anymore.

Somebody’s going to get paid, if not a bunch of people. I’m just curious to see who.

Who do you think will get the money?
