The Tennessee Titans have added another guard to the mix. Kyle DeVan is a fourth-year player out of Oregon State. So far he hasn’t stuck with any team, obviously.
DeVan played for the Indianapolis Colts in 2009 and 2010, after a stint with the Boise Burn. He started nine games for the Colts in ’09 and twelve in ’10. In 2011 he was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, where he started four games.
I’m not holding my breath on this one. There’s always the possibility that the coaches see something special in him, or at least see him as a decent depth option, but I’m always cautious when making predictions about players who entered the league as UDFA and haven’t caught on with any team.
The Titans waived rookie running back Darryl Whiting to make room on the roster for DeVan.
