Tennessee Titans: One Rookie Remaining

The Tennessee Titans have signed six of their seven picks so far, having signed both fifth-round pick Taylor Thompson and seventh-round pick Scott Solomon yesterday.

That leaves the Titans’ first-round round pick Kendall Wright as the last pick needing to be signed. It shouldn’t be long before that’s remedied, especially considering how excited the Titans are to have him on the team.

The Titans have a pretty good crop of rookies and I’m excited to see what they’ve got. The Titans got great value with their sixth and seventh picks, grabbing Markelle Martin and Scott Solomon respectively.

Martin was a steal that late in the draft, no matter how high I am not on him. Solomon has good potential, though seventh-round picks are always hit or miss, with a large part of them being misses.

It’ll be interesting to see how Ruston Webster’s first draft as GM plays out. It certainly has the potential to be a great one, but that’s often the feeling people have before the players actually hit the field. There are some big shoes to fill after the success of this last year’s class.

Let’s hope this one does just as well.
