The Tennessee Titans signed OLB Zach Brown to a four-year deal yesterday. Brown was the Titans second-round pick in this years draft and was a bit of a shocker when the Titans picked him.

Brown appears to be the heir apparent to OLB Will Witherspoon’s spot, whether it be this year or the next. It’ll certainly be one of the position battles to watch during this years camp.

Speed and coverage and two of the biggest reasons the Titans chose to take Zach brown with the 52nd pick of the 2012 NFL Draft. One of the biggest knocks on him came from NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock when he called Brown “allergic to contact” almost immediately after the Titans drafted him.

Let’s all hope he’s wrong.

I am excited for Zach Brown! Everybody needs practice with transferring to the NFL from college because it is a huge decision! Although, most on the Defense can at least tackle. Thus, will need more training than other college players who will begin their NFL career judging by his tape. His speed is wonderful though and you cannot train speed!
