Who Will Be Tennessee Titans 3rd QB?

As of now, Rusty Smith is the Tennessee Titans 3rd string QB. My question is, will he still be it when the season rolls around?

I’ve been asking that question since last season. In limited playing time, Rusty hasn’t been impressive. His only start was against the Houston Texans in 2010 after Vince Young and Kerry Collins were sidelined from injuries in previous games. It was not a game to remember. Rusty threw two picks to a guy who had a cast on his arm and the only touchdown he threw was called back on a penalty.

Rusty has a great attitude and I think he’s a great guy but as far as talent goes, I think it’d be just as easy to bring in almost any free agent and have them take Rusty’s spot. I feel as if the only reason that didn’t happen this last year was that he had only been drafted a year before and the Titans didn’t want to just throw away a pick that easy.

I think it’ll be hard to justify keeping him on the team this year.

What do you think? Do you think Rusty will be a Titan?
