It was announced yesterday that the Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with Lavelle Hawkins on a multi-year deal. It comes on the heels of Hawkins best season yet, where he recorded 47 catches for 470 yards and one touchdown.
Hawkins signing is the third free agent the Titans have brought back thus far. Talks have begun with Jason Jones. Cortland Finnegan still seems to be on his way out while the Titans seem to have interest in Stanford Routt, though I doubt it’s anything serious.
The major free agents the Titans still have to make decisions on include Jason Jones, Cortland Finnegan, Michael Griffin, and Chris Hope. My guess is at least half of those guys aren’t brought back. The Titans have till March 13th to sign them back before they can test free agency.
It’ll be interesting to see how that pans out.
