Kenny Britt to be Back for Opener

Kenny Britt’s recovery is ahead of schedule and Munchak expects him back for the season opener. All of Titan Nation felt the blow when Kenny Britt went down early in the Broncos game with what was obviously a serious injury. No one throws the ball away from themselves unless it’s a jerk reaction to something terribly painful. Fans found out later in the week that it was as bad as it could be. Britt had torn both his ACL and his MCL. It’s good news to hear he’s ahead of schedule. Kenny Britt has the talent to be a hall of fame receiver, he just needs to overcome the injury bug that has plagued him his first three seasons.

He also needs to keep himself out of trouble. During the holdout Britt evaded the police, among other things, and embarrassed the entire organization. Most of his problems came from being in New Jersey with all his old buddies. He has since moved to Tennessee and has been rehabbing here as well. Hopefully he continues to stay here and keep his nose clean.

Lets get Britt back on that field. With the growth that Washington has had this season, they make one heck of a duo. Defensive coordinators are gonna be pulling their hairs out trying to figure out how to stop them.
