After 4 weeks of picks I stand 36-10 (7-6 last week). I know, not too impressive.
Anyway, here’s week 7.
1 PM Games
Washington @ Carolina
Redskins. Regardless of the QB change should win this. The Panthers seem primed to fall apart.
Seattle @ Cleveland
Browns. I think the Seahawks are a more competitive team with Whitehurst at quarterback, but the Browns are more seasoned with McCoy.
Atlanta @ Detriot
Lions. I wouldn’t have believed that I chose this with ease and went Lions back in July.
Denver @ Miami
Broncos. It has nothing to do with Tebow. The Dolphins are awful.
San Diego @ New York Jets
Chargers. They can do it all, just not in the playoffs. It’s not the playoffs and the Jets are the most overrated team in football. Easy pick.
Chicago @ Tampa Bay
Chicago. This game should be great and that young, talented Bucs defensive line needs to prove they were worth the high draft selections. That said, I think Cutler pulls off a crazy ending and wins a close one.
Houston @ Tennessee
Titans. I think the Texans are too stretched on offense without Andre Johnson, though I’m looking forward to seeing what Arian Foster does without a dominant wideout drawing coverage.
4 PM Games
Pittsburgh @ Arizona
Steelers. Not close.
Kansas City @ Oakland
Raiders. The Chiefs are only on a temporary comeback.
St. Louis @ Dallas
Cowboys. The Rams look awful. The hope in Brandon Lloyd isn’t misplaced but will be interesting to watch after less than one week. He’ll do more than Mike Sims-Walker, that’s for sure.
Green Bay @ Minnesotta
Packers. They’re unbeatable, or at least seem that way and a rookie QB shouldn’t do too well. Maybe they’ll wise up and give the ball to Adrian Peterson 30 times.
Sunday Night Football
Indianapolis @ New Orleans
Saints. No explanation necessary.
Monday Night Football
Baltimore @ Jacksonville
Ravens. The Jags defense really showed up in the second half against the Steelers but until they do that for one half, they can’t be trusted with the game.
