NFL Pre-Season: Titans Vs Vikings

At 10 AM on Sunday, August the 14th, you can tune in to NFL Network to watch the Titans host the Minneosota Vikings.

The main storylines are the rookie quarterbacks and their newly crowned predecessors. For the Titans we obviously will have the first Hasselbeck sighting in a real game, if not for more than a quarter. When the team determines he played enough, we’ll get to see rookie quarterback Jake Locker play against another team for the first time.

On the Vikings side of the ball, exists the exact same scenario. Rookie quarterback Christian Ponder (Florida State) will wait in the wings while waiting on newly-acquired veteran Donovan McNabb starts the game. Both rookies are expected to start in 2012 at the earliest. Will the pre-season be their launching pad to claim the starting job for 2011 outright? Tune in Sunday to find out.

The actual game will be played Saturday at 7pm, central time.

If that doesn’t read like an infomercial, I don’t know what does. But, it’s worth tuning in for, and the best thing about it is that FOOTBALL is back!!!
