Titans’ Vince Young to be Released Thursday

NFL Draft Insider Jared Tokarz has been all over everything this week. I trust his updates, and he’s got one more for us: the release of Vince Young

We all knew it was coming and now we know when. Miami gets linked to his name nearly everywhere you read and he is a viable option there, but is it a sure thing that he could win the starting job? I don’t think so.

Young contains within himself the ability to go to the Hall of Fame, just like mentioned his rookie year. However, he is not on track to do that. Wherever Young lands he will need the new team to give him a family-syle environment full of lots of support and then, maybe, he has a chance to go show us he can make the Hall of Fame and keep that high win percentage. Or not, we’ll see.

But, the Dolphins want Palmer and the Bengals don’t want to release him.

Adam Caplan is reporting on twitter that the Raiders are pursuing competition for Jason Campbell. You know Al Davis loves mobile, athletic quarterbacks with big arms….
