In fact, another year at $7 million (about last year's salary) would be welcomed by almost anyone in his situation. However.....I'll be surprised if the Titan's win more than 8 games this year (if they play 16 games). That being the case, playoffs are not a part of the formula. Getting Locker some experience is essential. I can see signing Collins (at something less than $7 million) as a tutor and replacement in case of injury. He knows the system .....something others from other teams will not have....especially if there is precious little time between an owner/player agreement and the start of the season.
