The Titans have been working out at Father Ryan High School and planned on letting the fans come out for practice tomorrow (Wednesday). Unfortunately, this will not be able to happen, as no one got approval from the school for the fans to stop by and watch.
The practices have been led by CB Cortland Finnegan and he acknowledged that he was the one who should have gotten permission. Good move by Finnegan for taking the blame, it says a lot about his character that he would do that. He also used twitter to explain to the fans that they should not be upset with the high school, but with him. Another good move.
Does this sound like a guy that is a trouble-maker? No.
I’m more excited about Finnegan this year than I have been since he made the Pro Bowl in 2008. The leadership role that he has undertaken can only sow deep rewards. Here’s to hoping they are able to get practices open in the next few days!
