The 2-point conversion, or 2PC, is two quick points from this week’s roster developments about next week’s game. The first point will highlight the newest Titan player that will be a game-changing factor. While the second point will highlight the quarterback change of the Titan’s upcoming opponent (Miami Dolphins).
Checkout what has already been said about Randy Moss. He will fit in nicely. He will tutor Kenny Britt. He will open lanes for Chris Johnson. He has not even lined up wide-right in a Titan uniform. Thrown up a hand yet. Or sampled the pregame catering hospitality of Nashville’s finest. But, you heard it here first, Randy Moss will have a HUGE day in Miami come Sunday. Expect a performance in the neighborhood of 5 catches for 75 yards and a touchdown.
People forget that Pennington is the most accurate passer in NFL history. That he has thrown for 3000 yards in 3 different seasons for 2 different teams. That he has twice been awarded NFL Comeback Player of the Year. That his first playoff win was a 41-0 pounding of another young quarterback by the name of Peyton Manning. Everyone will remember after Sunday. Look for a calm, precise passer eager to carve up a Titan secondary that can have lapses in coverage at times.
The Miami Dolphins have lost some tough games to some quality opponents. And Chad Pennington will play well in a game that really will decide the Dolphin’s playoff hopes. But at the end of the day it is difficult to see Miami winning a game against a superior Titan squad that is resolutely setting its sights on a second AFC South division title in 3 years. Expect a statement from Randy Moss and the Titans. A big one.
