Heimerdinger thinks Young needs to focus on short passing games, accuracy

by Uncategorized

Vince Young showed signs that he can play in this league last year. He lead the team on a memorable 99 yard last minute victory drive to beat the the Arizona Cardinals.
Now Offensive Coordinator Mike Heimerdinger is still saying that Young’s passing game is still a work in progress. Instead of focusing on the deep throw Heimerdinger just wants Vince to be more accurate with his passes, especially on the short to mid range game. Also more smart of protecting the football.
Last year was really Vince’s first year to work with Heimerdinger who was the coordinator under Steve McNair. In year two hopefull there are big things to come.
