In the last 4 season when the Texas Longhorns needed a big play on offense or special teams, Jordan Shipley delivered (especially in the “Red River Shootout”).
The 1st team big 12 WR/Punt Returner became Coly McCoy’s sidekick after current Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young left with a national championship ring on his hand.
Shipley looks like the second coming of Wes Welker and shows surprising break away speed in the open field.
During their first summer camp together Shipley and future Heisman candidate Colt McCoy roomed together. Some credited that bond with the success the two achieved at UT together.
Regardless, a sure handed slot receiver who can make yards after the catch would be vital to Vince Young who sometimes struggles throwing the deep ball. Jordan has that skill set and is also a very dangerous punt returner. Riley Cooper might be another option available in later rounds.
Obviously Tennessee are going to be thinking defense first but don’t be surprised if they pull off some kind of trade to nab Shipley who has already had a scheduled visit with the team. Who knows, maybe coach Fisher will let Young and Shipley be roommates this upcoming training camp???
Drafting Shipley kills two birds with one stone

Josh...a pro would do their homework. You make it sound like the first time Ship and McCoy met was at their first summer camp at UT. Their DAD'S were college roommates and these two fine young ment, Colt and Jordan, have been pals since toddlers. They played against each other in high school. Again, do your homework.
