Titans need to look at a Sheppard who can catch wolves on day two

Between rounds three through seven people say you can find diamonds in the rough, in otherwards players who come in and become true contributors. Finding such players is like Charles Barkley goin all in on the flop in Vegas (i love Charles).
One guy the Titans might go all in on would be Malcom Sheppard.  Sheppard played 4 season for the University of Arkansas in the conference with the most athletic lineman (defense and offense).
As a freshman he came in right away and helped out at right defensive end. Finding his way in the backfield many times with speed and quickness, Sheppard had quarterbacks hurrying all over the place.
Sophmore year he matured even more, starting all 12 games except one switching between end and tackle. He led the team with 10.5 tackles for a loss and a total of 42 solo tackles.
2008 was his breakout season, he again started all 12 games. He was back at tackle where he earned all SEC honors with 47 solo tackles and 11 quarterback hurries. His stats dipped during senior year while he learned to play in Bobby Petrino’s new defensive game plan but was complimented by defensive coordinator Willy Robinson saying Sheppard is a very smart football player who can play in any scheme.
His nickname was the ‘Wood’ in college because of his hard hitting, high motor style.  This kid played his best ball in conference games when it mattered.  Sheppard is almost a Kevin Carter type who would fit well in a Tennessee youth movement rotation.  Somewhere btween rounds 4 and 7 she should be picked up
