Nate Washington…come on down

After the titans started off 10-0 in 2008 and wound up losing in the first round of the divisional playoffs many said the Titans neede to sign another playmaker at the wide receiver position, so they signed the former Steeler wideout Nate Washington.
While Washington was known as a deep threat when lined up with San Antonio Holmes and Heinz Ward, his longest catch of last season was 35 yards. He had only 5 more catches than rookie Kenny Britt.
I’m sure Washington was a lot more comfortable making 40 plus yard plays with superstars around him but now that he is the most known wide receiver he must step his game up to show the Titans why they signed him. By that he needs to have at least 4 catches for over 40 yards this upcoming season. Otherwhise the Titans should draft a receiver in the first round to help Vince Young
