How ’bout them Bears? That was really something last night. I really enjoyed watching that game. I still think Jay Cutler is a puke but I had zero qualms watching him get the win last night. Brett Favre has kind of turned into a turd. I have really grown tired of his act. It was fun watching him get shut down though. I was really impressed with the way the Bears effectively stopped him time and time again. What was not so impressive was the way the Bears let the Vikings back in the game. I must admit though I [...]

Monday Night Mayhem
Wow. The second I put Peyton Manning down for the win and 3 second half scores what in the world happens? I’m really beside myself. I can hear Herm Edwards in my head right now.
You play to win the game. Hello? You play to win the game. You don’t play it to just play it. That’s the great thing about sports: you play to win, and I don’t care if you don’t have any wins. You go play to win. When you start tellin’ me it doesn’t matter, then retire. Get out! ‘Cause it matters.
I guess I must have underestimated [...]
This has to be the Sunday that rivals the beat down in New England as the worst week on the schedule for the Titans fan. At least at (0-6) there’s was a shred of hope but at the present reality of (7-8) there’s not really a great deal to hope for outside of seeing CJ break a record, finishing .500 and seeing Fisher beat Seattle for the first time ever. Wow. Pretty pathetic. Coming off a league best (13-3) last year fans like me would have expected at the beginning of the season to be in a frenzy right now [...]
Last night I sat in the blusterous cold and watched the San Diego Chargers simply dismantle the Tennessee Titans. It was awful. The Titans made it painfully obvious they didn’t come to play. There were penalties galore. The passing game was off. Chris Johnson, despite having 142 yards rushing and improving on an impressive 10 game streak of 100+ rushing yards was ineffective at times. Tennessee seemed to show through in the limelight of the prime time national broadcast shades of the team that opened the 2009 campaign (0-6). Honestly, it was tough to watch. Sometime in the middle of [...]
Well, Here we are. It’s just one day until Christmas. That’s just one more day until the Titans buckle it up once again and put their season on the line against the AFC West Division leading Chargers (11-3). The Titans (7-7), are alive and have everything to play for. They are like the mythological phoenix that burnt itself to ashes and out of those ashes found themselves reborn. The Titans come into this one in some seriously uncharted territory.
First, you probably know that no team in the history of pro football has ever started (o-6) and clawed back to .500 [...]

Above there is a link to the video showing Justin Gage catching a 21 yard pass from Vince Young late in the first half. What is a bit peculiar and has been fodder for Titans message boards this week is the little snuggle that Fisher gave Vince in the embrace. Now, I’ll be honest. In a still frame it looks super gay but it doesn’t look near as bad full speed. Really though, what’s the big deal? Isn’t he just being a players coach? I’ve seen Fisher take a lot of heat from fans, mainly online, [...]
The Beard Off Wager
Hello all. I’m John Wilkerson and this is my inaugural post as the newly appointed lead blogger on this site. I’m really happy to be offered the opportunity to contribute to such an up and coming network. This is my first blog and it’s a shame that it’s so late in the season because looking back on it there’s an amazing story that could have been chronicled, at least, from my perspective, but for my first installment I’ll tell you about how I came to grow the “rally beard” that has resurrected our season.
It all began one cold day in [...]
Poor Jaxson De Ville Gets Stuck
The Deadspin headline says it all…
He’s Goin’ In
Chris Johnson begins his MVP campaign. If he get’s to 2,000 rushing yards he should receive serious consideration for the award. I don’t care what New Orleans or Indy’s records are or how old Favre is. And if he breaks Dickerson’s mark of 2,105 I’d be just sick if he didn’t get it. Right now he stands at 1,396 and has a fairly favorable schedule ahead. I’m gonna go on and tell you that he’s gettin’ 2,000, and I truly believe that he makes a run at the all-time rushing record. Playoffs or not, what a thing it would be [...]
