Alright folks, we’re just 24 hours away from day 1 of the 2009 NFL Draft, and we’re going to take a little leap of faith into the great unknown. By that I mean we’re going to take a stab at picking all of the Titans 10 draft picks. Obviously an undertaking like this involves a fair amount of “educated guessing”, and in a few days time we’ll know which word to put the emphasis on. So, without further ado:
ROUND 1 (30 Overall): LB Rey Maualuga, USC
ROUND 2 (62 Overall): CB D.J. Moore, Vanderbilt
ROUND 3 (94 Overall): WR Louis Murphy, Florida
ROUND 4 (130 Overall): DT Roy Miller, Texas
ROUND 4 (135 Overall): WR Johnny Knox, Abilene Christian
ROUND 5 (173 Overall): DE Pannel Egboh, Stanford
ROUND 6 (203 Overall): TE Bear Pascoe, Fresno State
ROUND 6 (206 Overall): CB Don Carey, Norfolk State
ROUND 7 (239 Overall): RB Javarris Williams, Tennessee State
ROUND 7 (242 Overall): DE Derek Walker, Illinois
We won’t go into too much detail about these guys now, but if when we get some of them right, not only will we say “I told you so”, but we’ll break down all the picks post-draft.
Do you like the picks? Do you hate the picks? If you think we’re out of our minds, then let us know who you think/hope the Titans take this weekend.
