First, let’s meet our bride and groom:
Yes folks, that’s Baltimore Raven backup TE Daniel Wilcox and his lovely bride, Shauna. An outdoor marriage? Oh, that’s nice. Wait, what’s that? It’s gonna be at M&T Bank Stadium, homefield of the Baltimore Ravens? And we’re invited? Oh, that is nice. (In all reality, they were married last June, but for the purpose of this post, we’ll just act like it’s coming up this June. Kapeesh?)
Oh my, what beautiful invitations these are. It’s a lovely, candid shot of you and your bride to be Daniel. Did you take that yourself with a camera phone? Shall I RSVP at StricklyDestiny@aol.com? I would make one suggestion though; when they ask if you’d like to see a preview of the invitations before they go to press, make sure that you do your own spell check, ’cause if there’s one thing I know, it’s that the folks employed by Kinko’s Fed Ex Office aren’t necessarily the brightest bulbs in the box (zing!). I say this only to help you and the other guests avoid any confusion, because we wouldn’t want them all showing up in Baltimore, Marland on June 28th.
Wow Daniel, what a beautiful ceremony. I am so happy for you and Shauna. Oh, don’t you worry, I’ve got my dancin’ shoes in the car. I’ll just go grab them n- well my goodness Daniel, you just won’t be outdone. Just look at this beautiful cake. Two crazy birds in love. Oh to be young again…
Well I’ll tell you what Mr. Wilcox, you sure do go all out don’t you? Getting married at the stadium, the Ravens cake and now a Baltimore Ravens themed garter belt. What a lucky lady she is.
