Adam being Pacman gets both suspended

As I’m sure you’ve already heard by now, Adam Jones has been suspended indefinitely by NFL commish Roger Goodell. As of now, it is only a four game suspension, but Goodell left open the possibility of extending that saying that he will make the ultimate decision on Pac’s future after the Cowboys play their week 11 game against the Redskins.  I don’t think this really surprised anyone, but I figured it would be for something like this, or even this.

At this point, I could careless if the guy ever sees the inside of an NFL locker room again. What I do care about is how this affects the Titans in next year’s draft. When the Titans traded Jones last off-season for a 4th round pick, one of the stipulations in the trade was that the Cowboys would get a 5th round pick back if he missed any games due to suspension or violation of the NFL conduct policy. Looks like that’s now going back to Dallas. Hopefully Lavell Hawkins (the player the Titans took with that pick) will develop into an NFL-caliber receiver to at least make the trade a little better. Otherwise, the trade will be pretty much a wash. Other than the fact that we finally got rid of the headache that was Pac. At least now he’ll have more time to work on his record label
